What the course gives you

  • US-certified through the NCSF

Coach Tin holds the Certified Strength Coach credential from the National Council on Strength & Fitness in the United States. Programming follows current sports-science principles.

  • Experience across three countries

The method comes out of coaching in the US, the Philippines and Vietnam, so it adapts to a wide range of athletes rather than assuming one starting point.

  • Genuinely individual

Every athlete is assessed for movement quality, physical state and goals before any program is written. The plan fits the person, which is what makes progress fast and injuries rare.

  • Built for performance, not just physique

The focus is on how the athlete moves — strength, speed, endurance and body control in a real game. Every session has a stated goal, so progress is visible stage by stage.

Why this program exists

Conditioning is the most neglected part of youth basketball in Vietnam. Players put in enormous technical work without the physical base to handle competitive intensity — and then they get hurt, or they plateau.

RSP is where sports science meets actual coaching. Every program is built and revised against current principles, so it is effective, safe, and matched to the individual.

What the program covers

  • Movement screening and physical assessment before anything else
  • General strength, then basketball-specific strength
  • Speed, agility and change of direction
  • Jumping, and landing safely
  • Injury prevention, with particular attention to knees and ankles
  • Recovery and training-load management

Where you train

Sessions run in a gym, so you pick whichever site below is nearest. Gym membership is paid to the gym at its own posted rate and is not part of the coaching fee.

How to join

  1. Fill in the form on this page.
  2. We book you in for an assessment. It tells us your strengths, your weak points, and where your injury risk sits right now.
  3. Your coach writes a program against those results and your goals.
